180 feet below Park Avenue in Manhattan, the most expensive tunneling project in the world is currently underway – the East Side Access Project. The plan is to build an entirely new multilevel train station beneath Grand Central Terminal. As a former technician on the project, I was able to sneak down with my camera and take these photos.
